Wrist

For people whose work requires assessment of equivalent dose in their limbs, they may use wrist dosimeters in addition to whole body dosimeters.

  • They have the same configuration as whole body dosimeter and are sent to the user identified like the others.
  • They are protected by a transparent polycarbonate case and have a strap so can be worn like a wristwatch.
  • They are always white. Blue and yellow for even and odd months appears in the interior plate.

Basic rules of use:

  • The dosimeter is personal and non-transferable.
  • It must be worn throughout the working day and not be taken outside the work centre.
  • It must be worn below any kind of protection used and on the user’s limb most exposed to radiation, right or left depending on work type and procedures.

This kind of dosimeter is recommended for us in Radiodiagnosis, Radiotherapy and Interventionism.
